Travel Directions

Cars

From the main A30 to St Ives take the A3074 for about 4 miles, passing through Lelant and Carbis Bay. Bear right at the St Ives Harbour Hotel & Spa; continue down the hill into the town of St Ives passing the Malakoff Bus Station on your right. Continue along the main road and take the left hand turn into Gabriel Street (B3306), opposite Wetherspoons. You will see the library on your right; continue up the hill, passing the cinema on your left. At the mini roundabout, with the Stennack Surgery on the corner, turn right into Bullans Lane. Continue up the hill to the T-junction at the top, turn right on to Belmont Terrace, and then as the road bends to the left go straight ahead onto Carrack Dhu Estate, which leads onto Clodgy View. We are the first house on the right hand side.

Train

Tregony Guest House is an approximately 15-20 minute walk from the train station. The easiest (less hilly) route is to walk along the Warren, which winds around the coast alongside Porthminster beach, past the Pedn-Olva Hotel onto Pendola Walk. When you reach the Lifeboat Station, turn left and walk up Lifeboat Hill, past The Black Rock restaurant. Turn right on to Back Street, and continue past the Barbara Hepworth Museum, and up Barnoon Hill (very steep, but the only hill, we promise!). At the top of the hill, turn left; continue past the car park, and alongside the cemetery until you reach Tregony Guest House, which is the last property in a terrace of townhouses

Alternatively, if you don’t fancy the walk, a taxi ride will only take a few minutes. Ace Cars (01736 797799) is located a few minutes from the train station. Turn left out of the station; continue through the car park and up the hill, and you will find the taxi rank next to the bus depot.
